Billy's annual trip to Plan Escalon in Honduras this year went
wonderfully well. In fact, we've finally decided to take the leap of
faith and become full-time missionaries. We've known of this
Calling on us for years, but have been procrastinating and
rationalizing. But, NO MORE! Our hearts are just overwhelmed by
the love and need of these beautiful people, and we can resist the
pull no longer. He wants us, we are His, and we can do nothing but
answer His Call. Praise God! Pray for us as we go forth to raise our
support...

Missionaries to Honduras

The Chrzans are finally doing it!!

Hi there Friend,                                                                                               July 8th, 2008

As family and friends in Christ, we fully support all that you do, and we felt it right to
inform you of what we are now doing.
What are we doing? We're going to Honduras, to live and minister and spread the Word.

Where are we going? To Santa Rita, Copan, Honduras - in the mountainous region by the
city of Copan Ruinas, in western Honduras.

Why are we going? We have been Called. We've known it for years, and are finally stepping
up and obeying fully the Will of God. We have the opportunity to serve a people in need,
and open an ESL school. Both Michelle & I are TESL certified to teach English, and have been
told by several Honduran sources that an ESL school there would be a great benefit. Teach
them Jesus as we teach them English... We also plan to have various Outreaches -
Church-planting and assisting in remote mountain villages, spreading the Gospel, food &
basic needs, as well as tutoring and education in such areas as hygiene, ethics, life-skills, and
parenting.

When are we going? We have finally given ourselves a deadline so we will stop
procrastinating. We will be here in Texas raising support for about 30-45 days, then up to
our previous Church in Michigan to raise support for another 30-45 days. We plan to be
leaving the States within 90 days, by the middle of October 2008, with a commitment of at
least 2 years in Honduras.
You yourselves have seen and experienced the needs of the people out there. We have a heart
for the Honduran people, and that heart is becoming overwhelmed with the knowledge of all
we could be doing, and all we have not done. We have been preparing for 7 years. Now is the
time to go and we don't want to be out of God's Will. A Christian who is out of God's Will
is like a fish out of water - he keeps flopping around waiting for someone to put him back
where he belongs, but just ends up dying and stinking.

As our Church family, we would like to ask you for your Blessing and support - both
Spiritually and financially.
Our needs are a monthly support to allow us to live in a 3rd world country, consistently or
more, you would be fulfilling a much needed help to the people of Honduras, to receive the
Love of us Christians and the Amazing Saving Grace of Jesus Christ and the Cross He so
willingly suffered for us...and them.

One time gifts in any amount are also needed, as they help us to reach our goal of having
enough money to be able to set up all we are going to be doing...you can even couple this
with your monthly support.

We have decided to go with Sons of Salvation as our overseers. So please do not send any
checks or money to us, but instead send it to the address below. They will make sure we get it
and get you a Tax-deductible receipt. All checks need to be made out to SOS, and ear-marked
with our account #.

If you would like to do this in person, I would Love to meet with you to show and discuss
more with you the needs that will be met by your contributions. Please don't hesitate to call
or email me and we can set up a time to meet.

As a supporter and friend, we will send regular updates to you of all that is being
accomplished. We will send pictures and Praise reports to allow you to share in the Blessings.

On behalf of all the Souls you will help us reach....WE THANK YOU!!!

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in
the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching
to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are
the feet of those who bring good news!” -- Romans 10:14-15
Dear Financial  Contributors and Supporters,                                                         July 2008

As a contributor and supporter, it is only right for you to know where your money is being
spent.
Here, for your viewing, are our initial costs and our monthly budget. This budget is
presumably for the 1st year only. We will also soon be completing our five year plan for
you to see.
While this is a pretty cut-and-dry budget, you need to know we have done a lot of research.
We have also conferred with many Missionaries already in Honduras, or have just left, as to
the costs expected. Sometimes things may differ slightly, as Honduras is notorious for
making changes to its ways, laws, and regulations and not informing the general public... we
must roll with the punches, so to speak.

Start up Expenses:
Plane ticket approx $680.00 (includes Emergency return home fare ) x 8  = $5400.00
First major food purchase and necessities for living (1 month's worth)      =  $1000.00
Passports (only 5 youths left to get )                                       $100.00 x 5 = $500.00
Homeschool supplies (books, papers, pencils etc)                                      = $1000.00
Plus the first month's budget                                                                    =
  $2180.00
Initial start                                                                                              $10,080.00

The above initial finances needed will afford us the first 90 days in Honduras, during which
we will either have to begin the process of obtaining our residency papers...or after the 90
days, we will have to leave the country to the USA or Mexico for a day and return for
another 90 days. This may be a better choice for us as we have been asked to look in and
help in San Salvador for a month, which, of course, would be a perfect time for us to renew
the 90 day visa.
Our monthly needs budget is as follows:
Food for Missionaries (all 8)                                                                       = $500.00
Internet (for communication, Testimonies and updates)                             =  $100.00
Cell phone (in-country emergencies)                                                          =   $30.00
Gas/travel (Church, outreaches, food)                                                       =  $200.00
Translator/assistant
(husband/wife team only. Translating, cooking, helping in general )     =  $200.00
Utilities (water, sewer, trash, propane, electric )                                         =   $200.00
Housing (if house is not purchased )                                                          =  $650.00
Ministry Outreach (food, Bibles, building materials, ESL books)                =   $250.00
In-case-we-have-an-Emergency fund                                                         =
   $50.00
Total monthly Budget expected                                                                   $2180.00
The monthly budget is, of course, slated for change. By this I mean we aim to be able grow
and require more budget for more Souls to be reached. We look forward to the anticipated
growth.

The next set of expenses are goals and expectations we are putting on the Ministry. We do
this as a way of promoting growth. A goal not set is a goal not reached. We have a 2-year
goal of being able to have an ESL (English as a Second Language) School up and running
successfully, housed on the property which we wish to purchase and reside. This property is
also well able to house teams as we invite them down on short-term trips to help in
Honduras. As you can see, there are many needs and reasons to have the house for the
Ministry.
House with 5 bedrooms and a 3800 sq ft set up for an ESL School           = $100,000
(The Pastor that currently owns this has offered a purchase plan of     = $25,000* down, &
payoff by 2009-10)
Coffee Farm ( to help with Ministry growth and support)                           = $35,000
Residency papers & Atty fees, filing fees. Est. per person     $700.00 x 8   = $5600.00
Used Truck purchase (will stay when we leave )                                         = $3500.00

If there is any portion of any of the needs mentioned that you would like to sponsor, please
let us know. You can ear-mark your check with our names and the specific item(s). Then
send your check made out to:

Because we are part of the Body of Christ, we know the Body has many different members. A
member of the Body that is dear to our hearts is one of our mentors and supporters named
Dow Warner, the director of Sons of Salvation Ministry. This organization offers support -
both Spiritually and financially - to Missionaries around the world; please visit their website
at  www.sonsofsalvation.com and see what they do. There are many short-term and long-
term Missions opportunities through this wonderful non-profit Ministry. We are honored to
be a part of this Missions organization.
